The CIB offers a compact five-day course for agencies to prepare new staff to pass the licensing exam quickly. Participants have the option to attend the course live in–person or remotely via webinar.
The GCIB also offers a self-study option through Web CE.
We are working to launch a new hybrid course starting in 2025 that combines the best of self-study and instructor–led formats. Students will complete 20 hours of basic content via online self-study and 20 hours of facilitated instruction to discuss key concepts, review case studies, and prepare for the exam. In the coming months, we will work with the Ohio Department of Insurance to certify this new program.
Founded in 1838, the Greater Cincinnati Insurance Board is an independent organization supported by insurance agencies, companies, and agents.
