There are no investors demanding a profit from Alliance Gold, meaning the program is designed wholly with the success of the independent agent in mind. This is exemplified through some of the benefits of Alliance Gold:
There’s an important difference between owning your expirations and owning your carrier codes, and it’s something you should consider when deciding to join a network, alliance, or aggregator. Owning your expirations means you control the account, but owning your carrier codes gives you more autonomy.
With some networks, you may own the policies within the carrier code, but don’t own the code itself. If you leave the network, they may choose not to release your carrier code. This means you can’t obtain another code with that carrier, so what happens with those clients and their policies?
This is just one example of how the Alliance Gold program was designed with the agent at the forefront – you own your expirations and your carrier codes.
To take advantage of the benefits of Alliance Gold, a contract is required. An initial start-up fee and ongoing monthly fees also apply.
