Modern Options for P&C Insurance Licensing
With centuries of combined experience supporting Ohio’s insurance professionals, the Ohio Insurance Agents Association (OIA) developed a Property & Casualty (P&C) Pre-Licensing program. OIA offers a hybrid pre-licensing course that blends convenience and instruction: 20 hours of flexible, self-paced online learning paired with 20 hours of engaging live webinar sessions. We’ve also built an independent self-study option, allowing for flexibility to learn on your own schedule.

Flexibility in Learning
Our courses optimize for the preference in learning. We offer hybrid-online, an independent self-study, and fully in-person course options.
Hybrid-Online courses are a mix of Zoom webinars with an instructor and self-study. The Independent Self-Study option is for learning independently (our most flexible option), and the in-person course is the best option for those wanting to learn in a classroom environment.
Member-Exclusive Pricing
Members and company partners of the OIA along with members of the Greater Cincinnati Insurance Board will receive member-exclusive pricing of $359 for the hybrid-online course and $199 for the self-study course.

Highly Qualified Instructors
The course will be led by a team of insurance professionals with over 50 years of combined industry experience. Instructors include Chris Kendall, Executive Director of the Greater Cincinnati Insurance Board; Rachel Davis, Education Program Manager at OIA; and Ashley Fitzsimmons, OIA’s Director of Professional Development.
Study Resources & Test Preparation
Participants will gain access to a free electronic course manual. Prefer having a hard copy? For an additional cost, you can have one mailed to you.
You’ll also gain access to a practice exam formatted with a large question bank to allow for multiple practice tests.
